Interested in Italy as a destination for your events? This is a fantastic opportunity to make personal contact with a range of selected Italian venues and suppliers in the backdrop of Palermo, Sicily Dear Madam, Dear Sir, I have pleasure in inviting you to the 5th edition of The Venue Italia Workshop, to be held in Palermo from 26 to 29 June 2008. The Venue Italia Workshop is a high-profile showcase event based on pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings between European incentive houses, event management companies, congress organisers and corporate meeting planners on the one hand, and around 40 Italian suppliers, including hotels, historic hotels and venues, DMCs, conference centres, destinations and convention bureaus on the other. The event is organised by Convegni, the leading Italian publishing house specialising in conference and incentive publications, including the magazine Venue Italia, in partnership with Regione Sicilia (Sicily local government). You will be accommodated at the brand-new 5-star Wagner Grand Hotel or at Federico II Grand Hotel, both situated right in the centre of Palermo. Our provisional programme is as follows: Thursday 26 June Arrival and check in. Event presentation, welcome cocktail and dinner at Wagner Grand Hotel. Friday 27 June Pre-scheduled meetings with suppliers - full day. Buffet lunch. Gala dinner at Palazzo Mirto, an ancient palace in Palermo. Saturday 28 June Morning: pre-scheduled meetings with suppliers. Buffet lunch. Afternoon: transfer to Cefalù, a characteristic town near Palermo. Dinner in Cefalù. Sunday 29 June Guided tour of Carini's Castle (near Palermo). Transfer to airport according to flight schedule. Complimentary flights, accommodation, meals and activities as per official programme are included. Places are limited.
